Production Control and Distribution - 24 Month Graduate Programme

The department is the central hub of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and has a broad scope covering three main areas: Programme Planning, Production Steering and Distribution.

The Programme Planning team are responsible for short term planning of the current and next financial year, as well as the production aims for Goodwood. In order to deliver an effective plan, the programme planning team work with many departments across the business.

The Production Steering team is responsible for steering the complete Vehicle Chain from the start of Body-in-White at Dingolfing, to vehicle completion in Goodwood, ensuring a customer first approach to our KPIs. The Production Steering team work closely with all the manufacturing departments and Sales to ensure on time delivery.

The distribution team co-ordinate the outbound finished vehicle transport from Goodwood to the dealer, worldwide by road, sea and air. The Distribution team work mainly with Sales, Finance, Production Steering and external service providers to ensure delivery requirements are met.

What we are looking for

  • Studying towards or have achieved a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (minimum 2.2) in a relevant Engineering course.
  • Strongly self-motivated, ability to negotiate and convince others, good communication skills and a logical thinker.
  • Understanding and experience of problem solving.
  • Knowledge of / proficient data analytics and visualisation tools extremely beneficial.
  • CAD experience is desirable.
  • Fluent English, working knowledge of German beneficial.
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office incl. Power BI).
  • To be eligible for this position, you must be able to provide proof of your legal right to work in the UK if you are not a UK passport holder.
