Summer Intern Electrical Engineer June 2024

Job description

BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Summer Intern Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

Join our Maritime Services Team to become part of the only provider of complex warships, while providing the Royal Navy with its most advanced and powerful attack Warships. Our end to end Maritime Services range from warship availability, equipment and facilities management to training, product development and through life support for radar, torpedoes and small boats – Every Role Makes a Difference, You will make a difference.

During your time on a Summer Internship with us, over 12 weeks you will work in a team whose role is to make suggestions surrounding electronic product content, optimise hardware and software design concepts, develop sophisticated design processes and test complex products. Gaining exposure to the entire project lifecycle, you’ll play a key role in both maintaining our existing systems and developing new technologies.

What we are looking for

To be considered for this role you must be returning to University to complete your degree

Qualifications

As a minimum requirement you`ll need to be on course for achieving a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s degree

In any STEM subject

Accepted degree subjects
