The Role
Each day is different, you’re continuously faced with new and exciting challenges, giving you the opportunity to develop and progress on your placement, and gaining knowledge to help in your future Buying career.
As a Product Purchasing Placement Student, you’ll work hand in hand with the Product Development and Purchasing teams to support in the sourcing and procurement of items that deliver our product strategy, optimizing the best costs and maintaining quality standards.
Your role is to support the delivery of the products on time, working in close collaboration with the Purchasing Merchandise team and the supply base to support on the approval process within the critical path.

Monday – Friday
9am – 5pm

What we are looking for
To find the best students for our Product Purchasing team, we’d like you to have the following...
- Currently a 2nd year student, ideally studying a buying, supply chain or procurement related course that requires you to complete a 12 month placement. Start date – July 2024.
- Retail work experience would be advantageous
- Commercially focused
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Self-motivated and committed to developing your skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
