You'll work closely with our IT Vendor Manager to provide project support including project and contract finance administration.

About the Role
Working with the IT Vendor Manager, you will plan and prioritise activites to ensure the efficient delivery of the business objectives, liaising with stakeholders and Project teams to understand business needs in order to identify appropriate supplier(s) and terms to ensure project delivery.
You'll support in the project lifecycle of IT projects to agreed standards and deadlines including delivery of small projects, supporting the on-boarding process of new suppliers and building relationships to faciliate good working practices.
You'll also be responsible for the purchase order process in line with agreed budgets through the Oracle finance systems, maintaining the IT Service Catalogue ensuring it is up to date at all times and support in reporting monthly on the operational expenditure (OPEX) of the IT function across multiple cost lines.

What we are looking for
To find the best people for our IT team, we’re looking for an individual who is currently a 2nd year student, ideally studying a computer related course that requires you to complete a 12 month placement starting July 2024.
We need someone who is keen to learn and be part of a successful business that is growing both online and in-store. You'll have an enriching and enjoyable year as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team, making it the perfect time to be here!
We’d like somebody who has a base level of theoretical and practical knowledge in IT although we’re not expecting you to be able to come in and perform like a seasoned veteran, we still want you to be able to make a difference and enjoy your time here.
Outside of your technical skills, you will also need to be a good communicator and be able to function well as part of a team, whilst also being able to manage multiple tasks in parallel and manage your time well.
