Rapid changes in global security challenge and test the boundaries of international law.
The global nature of contemporary security issues make understanding the role of international and transnational law in mediating and influencing those issues a vital area of study.
Our LLM International Law and Security programme looks at the impact and relationship between international law and security interrogating critical transnational issues, such as immigration, terrorism, environmental damage and cyber security. Law is increasingly called upon to respond to these challenges in innovative and nuanced ways. The programme allows you to develop an advanced understanding of the frameworks, regulations and transactions related to security.
This programme is ideal for those keen to explore the constantly shifting landscape of international law and security issues through contemporary challenges and responses, developing an advanced understanding of the impact and relationship between international law and security.
