How to get to Hull
Some people might tell you that Hull is ‘at the end of the line’, but they couldn’t be more wrong. Hull is slap-bang in the centre of the country, roughly halfway between Edinburgh and London. It’s easy to get to by road, rail, sea and air. There’s a direct train service to London that takes less than three hours. Birmingham’s only two and a half hours away, and it’s around an hour to either York or Leeds.
One campus, one community
When you join Hull, you’re a valued member of a tight-knit community where the lecturers know your name. It’s a place where everyone matters. A place for all ages, all background, all walks of life. It’s no coincidence that “friendly” is the word most of their students use to describe Hull.
The university has recently invested £300 million into their facilities, with £86 million more to come. So everything you need to live, study and socialise is on one safe and beautiful campus, rather than being scattered around the city. If you choose to live in one of the brand-new on-campus apartments, you’ll also have the gym and sports centre on your doorstep. Plus bars (including Wetherspoons), coffee shops, a 7-storey library, a mini-supermarket and a nightclub.
How to apply
For most postgraduate courses, you apply online and can track the progress of your application. It’s quick and easy and the team are on hand to help you every step of the way.
The application deadline for 2023 entry is 30 June, but we recommend that you apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Some programmes will close for applications for the next intake once they’re full.
