Human rights rank as one of the greatest legal achievements of the last few generations, but they continue to generate debate and contestation in today’s shifting political world.

The programme allows you to explore how law and policy set out the fundamental rights and freedoms that everyone in the UK is entitled to. The course explores the many of challenges and legal considerations that crop up in the application of human rights to everyday life.
This programme is suited to those looking to improve their legal understanding of complex and divisive human rights issues, especially those looking to progress their career in human rights law, as a practice or research area.
