Job description
As a Tech Intern focused on data cleaning, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data - our organization’s most valuable asset. Your primary responsibility will be verifying and correcting company information in our proprietary database of expert and company relationships, ensuring that every company in our system is accurately defined and identified. You will conduct desktop research as needed and gain an understanding of how our company data is used by our teams and clients.
In this role, you will join our rapidly evolving, global technology function, gaining work experience at a leading UK graduate employer. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are hardworking, detail-oriented, and seeking to gain experience in a tech organisation over a focused four month placement.
What you’ll do
- Desktop research: Immerse yourself in the world of companies, uncovering their core activities, corporate identities, and organizational structures through thorough research.
- Platform understanding: Utilize our cutting-edge proprietary tools to identify how companies have been referenced in our system, ensuring their accurate identification across various research projects.
- Company verification: Capture essential identifying information about companies in our proprietary database, maintaining the integrity and reliability of our data.
- Company cleaning: Remove or update erroneous or outdated data, ensuring the database remains pristine and up-to-date.
- Product improvement: Share your insights and recommendations to enhance our internal knowledge graph systems, data quality tooling, and operational processes.
- Analytics collaboration: Collaborate closely with our analytics team to identify
- patterns and develop innovative bulk cleaning strategies.

Duration: Four months.
