Graduate College

The Graduate College at Canterbury Christ Church University offers a fantastically supportive and friendly environment in which to be a postgraduate student. We welcome students of all ages and all backgrounds and provide an intellectually stimulating environment for your studies.

All of our postgraduate research degrees are managed by the Graduate College which also runs the year-long Researcher Development Training Programme, and provides many educational and training workshops, as well as social events, thesis-writing boot-camps, writing together and well-being sessions.

The student-led Postgraduate Research Association also provides social and academic opportunities, including an annual postgraduate researcher conference, as well as mentoring and support throughout the year.

Significant Investment in Facilities

We want all our students to achieve their full potential. This is why we have invested millions of pounds into creating high-quality facilities, such as our new multi-million-pound facility for Science, Technology, Health, Engineering and Medicine, which opened in January 2021. It is home to the Kent and Medway Engineering, Design, Growth and Enterprise (EDGE) Hub, alongside new specialist health, science and medicine facilities. Providing innovative learning and teaching, our industry focused courses support highly skilled work-ready graduates into a range of careers and sectors.

Our stunning arts facility, the Daphne Oram building, offers a wide range of new and established courses to promote careers in the creative and digital industries. The building houses specialist teaching facilities, including space for performance and music, design studios and the latest technology to support new and existing courses.
