Our securities business offer a comprehensive product suite to clients around the world through five key business lines in the primary and secondary markets: Debt Capital Markets, credit, rates, equities, and structured products.
Our commercial banking arm is a leading corporate lending bank offering an intensive range of services from Project Finance & Syndicated Loans through to Transaction Banking & Asset Finance.

Our compliance function is responsible for ensuring that laws, regulations and rules of exchanges and markets are adhered to within every country where we operate.
The business of Compliance is regulatory and reputational risk management. It is the design and practical implementation of processes and policies that ensure that MUFG not only complies with the rules, but also that business is conducted in an ethical way, putting the interests of our customers first and protecting our reputation. It requires high degrees of integrity judgement and skill, the ability to think creatively, an inquiring mind, persistence and a keen sense of independence.
Examples of our work include
- Working with traders, salespeople and bankers to ensure that new business is fully understood and properly controlled
- Ensuring that confidential information held by the bank is protected and only used for legitimate purposes
- Monitoring transactions and checking new clients to prevent money-laundering and other criminal activity
- Performing reviews and tests of market activity to identify and remediate problems
- Monitoring industry and regulatory developments and analysing their impact on MUFG’s business
- Implementing new regulations, often as part of major projects
- Providing training to MUFG staff on a wide variety of topics
Our 18 month Analyst Programme starts with a comprehensive training programme designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients & our business strategies.
Equipped with newfound knowledge, you’ll start with the desk where you’ll gain hands-on work experience. Right from day one, you’ll become an integral member of the team and will be given meaningful work to complete, allowing you to start building your experience and expertise within your chosen field.
